Simple Profession

At the end of their novitiate, our novices made their first profession in the Order of Preachers and will continue their formation and studies:

Brother Andrew Jacob C. Heakes
and
Brother Andrew Angelo Antes

Some details about the Dominican Order:

• Novitiate — the candidate is a novice and has not yet taken religious vows.
• Simple profession — taken after the novitiate; this is the first profession, which is temporary.
• Solemn profession—made at a later date; it is perpetual.
